Confirmation of booking and payment procedure:
For pilgrimage bookings, a deposit of SGD1000 will be collected upon booking. Full payment will be collected 2 months before the departure of the group. For online bookings done on our website, a deposit of SGD50 is payable upon booking. Upon confirmation of the booking, payment must be made in full.
Responsibilities:
Alternative Travel & Tours Pte Ltd, (Alternative Travel) acts as an agent for services provided by operators and cannot be held liable for any alterations, acts or omissions on the part of those providing services listed in this offer document or any other services incidental thereto. Further, the responsibilities of associated air carriers are limited as specified in their tickets, conditions of carriage and tariffs.
Alternative Travel shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy, misdescription or changes to any tour or itinerary or for losses or additional expenses due to strike, war, quarantine or other causes. Baggage and personal effects are the passenger’s own risk and it is the responsibility of the passenger to effect insurance.
Alternative Travel and the operators involved in this programme shall be exempted from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury however and by whomsoever caused and of whatever kind occurring by any conveyance or property used or utilized by the operator. The passage contract in use by the operator concerned constitutes the sole contract between the operators and the purchaser of the travel arrangements.
There is no liability on our part in respect of any money until payment is “received” by us. “Received” means the cheque as paid to us is presented and cleared through our accounts by our bank or amount is received into our account from any form of electronic transfers/payment
Alternative Travel reserves the right to correct any error or omissions of information prior to final payment being received by us.
Cancellation
Customers have the right to cancel their booking but if they do so, notice must be made in writing and the following cancellation charges will apply:

Replacement and/or amendments of confirmed bookings are allowed but subjected to the airline’s approval and applicable charges. In addition, there will be an administrative charge of S$75 per replacement and/or amendments. If rejected, a fresh booking will be made. However, the airline’s confirmation will not be given immediately as it is subjected to seat availability
